OLD BRIDGE – The township will offer residents plenty of free, frightening Halloween fun this season.

The Department of Parks and Recreation will kick off the Halloween Season with its annual haunted house Oct. 23-25, from 7-9 p.m. and Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Richard Allen Cooper Civic Center. This event will feature dark mazes, spooky décor, costumed township employees and plenty of scares. It is suggested for ages 10 and up.

The annual Halloween Spooktakular will be held on Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Richard Allen Cooper Civic Center. The family-friendly event will include arts and crafts, games, hay rides, music and pumpkin picking and painting. Costumes are encouraged.

“Our Parks and Recreation staff does a tremendous job creating the fantastic annual haunted house and Spooktakular and it is always satisfying to see residents enjoying themselves so much,” said Mayor Owen Henry. “This is a wonderful opportunity to get into the spirit of the holiday.”
