A community blood drive will take place at the South Brunswick Public Library on Sept. 3.

The drive is in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and in support of the fight against childhood cancer.

The blood drive is from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Donors will receive a $10 Amazon gift card.

Donors should eat a meal before giving blood and bring a valid identification card.

Those who want to make an appointment in advance can visit tinyurl.com/givebloodnjbs or call 1-800-933-blood. The sponsor code is 13160. Appointments are not required.

The drive is done in part with the New Jersey Blood Services.

September is national Childhood Cancer Awareness month. 

The library is located at 110 Kingston Lane, in the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.
