A 57-year-old Millburn High School teacher from Monroe was charged with child endangerment for allegedly making "sexual overtures" to a female student, according to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office.
Joseph D. Pedulla had previously taught the girl, the Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement. She reported the Monroe resident to police in Millburn.
The Prosecutor’s Office said the alleged “inappropriate communications” were made during the school year.
According to an NJ.com article, Pedulla’s employment status is unknown at this time.
